Both municipal pages describe Palácio das Águias as a 19th-century townhouse named for the eagle sculptures above its roof. The building is also known as Sobrado do Tutu.
The municipal source records its state heritage listing by Inepac in 1989. The older pages differ on location details and opening hours; check with the Culture Department before planning an indoor visit.
